HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I think 2012 is going to be an exciting yet challenging year. The Lord gave a word to both Jane and myself about what we as a Fellowship need to do for 2012.

For Jane He gave the simple phrase 'DIG IN', but 'Dig in' with two meanings. The first; Dig into the goodness He's already released into our lives, as if He's saying don't just stand there looking at it, admiring the favour bestowed, it's there to be consumed and enjoyed to the full. And secondly, Dig in because this year is a year where we need to dig deeper into who and
where He is.

For me, He reminded me of a word He gave the Fellowship a few years ago, namely Rehoboth! The name comes from Genesis 26 vs 22 and relates to the Lord making room for Isaac to be fruitful. We felt at the time the Lord was confirming our place in the land and to date we have experienced fruit. But Isaac didn't remain there, he eventually WENT UP from there to Beersheba. And this is what the Lord has indicated that we should do now - GO UP TO BEERSHEBA!
